FAQ’s

  • Yes, absolutely, my classes fill up quickly. I recommend you make contact after 14 weeks of pregnancy so I can book you into a suitable class.

Ideally, you need to start classes around 28 weeks pregnant, I am happy to sort out a suitable course date for you.

  • The Boutique Weekend Antenatal Class covers the same core themes as the 5-week course, but in a more condensed format.

We focus on the most important topics, practical preparation and hands-on activities to help you feel informed and confident heading into birth and early parenting. While the pace is quicker and there’s less time between sessions to reflect, the weekend format is carefully designed to ensure you walk away with the essentials clearly covered.

The main difference is not what’s important, but how the learning is paced. The 5-week class allows more time to absorb information gradually and revisit questions over several weeks, while the Boutique Weekend offers focused preparation in a shorter timeframe.

Both options provide practical, evidence-informed guidance — the best choice is simply the one that fits your schedule and learning style.

The classes are designed to include them as active participants, with practical guidance and discussions that support them in understanding their role and how they can support you during birth and early parenting.

  • Yes, I am a fully qualified Child Birth Educator (Diploma), I qualified in 2005 and have been facilitating and teaching antenatal classes for 20+ years, during that time I have taught well over 5500 thousand parents.

  • These classes suit parents who want a broad, balanced understanding of pregnancy, labour, birth and the early weeks with their baby. We cover a wide range of possibilities — including both physiological and medical aspects of birth — so you can understand your options and make informed choices that feel right for you.

All information is current, evidence-informed and shared in a factual, non-biased way. The focus is on giving you practical tools and confidence, not telling you what you should or shouldn’t do.

Classes are relaxed, friendly and supportive, with plenty of space for questions, real conversations and connection with other parents due around a similar time — usually with a few laughs along the way too.

  • Yes, this starts as a private Facebook page, which you and your partner/support person are welcome to be part of, helping you make those important connections.

I will post links and resources, backing up what we cover during classes and interesting information to continue filling up your parenting toolbox. We will chat about setting up your coffee group during the last night.
