Baby & Infant First Aid Course

Confidence when it matters most.

Nothing is scarier than seeing your baby in distress.
Our Baby & Infant First Aid course gives you real, hands-on skills — so you’ll know what to do, stay calm, and step in with confidence when every second matters.

In those critical moments, knowing exactly what to do — and trusting yourself to stay calm — can make all the difference.

Our hands-on Baby & Infant First Aid Course gives you practical skills, real-time practice, and the calm confidence to act quickly and effectively when the unexpected happens — all in a relaxed, welcoming environment where asking questions is easy (and there’s no judgement, no pressure, and no such thing as a silly question).

Whether it's choking, a breathing emergency, a burn, or a bump to the head — you'll walk away knowing you can handle it.

Skills You'll Take Home

By the end of the evening, you'll feel confident to:

  • Perform CPR on babies and infants — using medical manikins with real-time feedback to make sure you're doing it correctly.

  • Respond quickly and safely if your little one starts choking.

  • Manage burns, wounds, bleeding, head injuries, allergic reactions, poisoning, and medication accidents.

  • Understand fevers, febrile seizures, and respiratory illnesses — and what steps to take.

And most importantly — you’ll know when to seek emergency help and when you can breathe a little easier.

    • A relaxed, practical evening (no tests, no pressure — all about real learning).

    • Plenty of hands-on practice to build your skills and confidence.

    • A welcoming environment where questions are encouraged — no silly questions here!

    • Light refreshments provided (we’ll have a short break midway through).

    • Wear something comfy — you’ll be practicing CPR on the manikins.

An amazing course that gave us peace of mind that we now have some idea of what we are doing if anything happens when our baby arrives.
— H & K Smyth
We loved the fact that this course was ‘hands on’. We learnt so much and had all our questions answered. We highly recommend this to all parents in Hawke’s Bay. Thanks Janine, it helped calm some of our worries.
