Private Antenatal Consultation
Hawke's Bay & Online NZ
Your Own Personalised Antenatal Education Experience
Sometimes a group class isn’t the right fit - and that’s where a private consultation can make all the difference.
This personalised antenatal session is designed around you, your pregnancy, and the questions that matter most to you and your partner.
Together we explore the topics that will help you feel informed, confident, and prepared for labour, birth, and early parenting.
With over 20 years of experience and more than 5,500 families supported, you'll receive practical, evidence-informed guidance tailored to your unique situation.
Four Hours Dedicated Entirely to You
For some parents, the most valuable preparation comes from having time and space to focus entirely on their own journey.
A private consultation offers a more personalised approach to antenatal education. Instead of working through a fixed class structure, the session is shaped around your pregnancy, your questions, and the areas you would like to explore in more depth.
This allows us to spend time on what matters most to you - whether that’s understanding labour and birth, preparing for different birth possibilities, exploring comfort strategies, or building confidence in caring for your baby.
Many parents choose a private consultation because they want individual guidance, flexibility, and the opportunity to have real conversations about their unique situation.
Together, we create a relaxed space to talk, learn, and prepare so you can approach birth and early parenting feeling informed and supported.
“We worked with Janine for our private antenatal classes and we are genuinely so so grateful we came across her services. We found the 2 x 2 hour sessions informative, personalised, engaging and delivered in a way that wasn’t overwhelming for us as first time parents.
It’s not often you come across someone where you feel as though they are in a job that aligns so deep and soulfully with them, but Janine is just born to be in this industry, she’s such a safe loving warm person and really made us feel as though no question was a dumb question!
We feel so much stronger as parents now ”

Private Consultation Booking Policy
Securing your booking
A $150.00 non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your consultation dates. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. This deposit forms part of your total consultation fee and covers reserving your appointment, administration, preparation and personalised planning.
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your first session.
Preparing your personalised consultation
You’ll receive a questionnaire to help me understand your circumstances, questions and priorities. Your answers are essential to creating a consultation that focuses on what matters most to you.
The questionnaire must be completed and returned at least one week before your first session. This allows me time to prepare your personalised plan. If it hasn’t been returned by this deadline, we’ll need to reschedule our time together, subject to availability.
Cancellations and changes
The booking deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, change your mind, are unable to attend, or your baby arrives before your scheduled consultation.
Where possible, your booking may be transferred to another Bellies to Babies service, subject to availability and agreement.
If Bellies to Babies is unable to provide your consultation due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose to transfer your booking to a mutually agreed date or receive a full refund of any fees paid.
